Our mission is to help you achieve your personal goals through a sustainable, integrative approach to food, fitness, and lifestyle. We promise to provide the highest quality service we can to that end.

Our Philosophy

Proper nutrition, smart training, educated lifestyle choices, and accountability are the pillars of health and longevity. Our program, while always evolving, provides tools to help you improve each of these areas as needed.

Coaches

Nick Kirkes

Nick Kirkes is the co-owner and head coach at Inner Strength Indy. With a diverse background, his approach to fitness is one of sustainability. "We're not all meant to be competitive, but we are all meant to be healthy."

Nick has been involved in traditional martial arts since 1999, and teaching since 2004/5. He was introduced to CrossFit in 2006 and has been actively educating himself (and anyone who would listen) ever since. He holds a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification, a USAW Sports Performance Coach certification, and is completing his certification as an Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach in early 2012. In between work and family life, he has taken college level courses in anatomy & physiology, nutrition, and health and wellness programs, and continues to seek education from the top coaches and programs in the field.

Stephanie Lonon

Our ambassador of awesome, Stephanie is the co-owner and head yoga instructor at Inner Strength Indy. She carries a 200 hour certification through the yoga alliance, and applies her experience to many of the mobility aspects of our program. She also carries a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification, and is seeking additional education on the nutrition front. She's a damn good paleo cook, too! (Seriously, ask her for her chili recipe.)
